About Phil Brown

Phillip D. Brown received his BA in Art and Art History from the University of California at Davis and his MFA in Painting from Mills College, Oakland, CA.

He was an Adjunct Professor for Art at the Nevada County Campus of Sierra College for ten years. He now teaches private classes in oil, acrylic, and pastel at AS IF Studios, Grass Valley, CA. Phil paints in his studio on a daily basis. Phil is married and has one son and grandson.
