Mary Kay Donnelly

Pine Tree Earrings

Mary Kay Donnelly began her career as a self-taught and award winning jeweler in 1970. Through gallery exhibits, retail stores, and juried art shows her work has spread world-wide. Despite popular demand for her jewelry, Mary Kay has insisted on retaining exclusive control of her business to ensure the quality of her creations. All of her designs are available in 14k, 18k, and 22k gold, as well as sterling silver. Mary Kay insists on working with the highest quality metals and gemstones so that the integrity of her work is never compromised.

Mary Kay's family has been immersed in her work from the start. The tireless support of her parents enabled her initially to learn the craft and develop it fully. Her husband Robert designed her display and has continuously aided in her business endeavors. Her daughters, Katie and Kylie, have provided much of the motivation for her work and continue to serve as eager models for her newest designs. Mary Kay credits her family's appreciation of her innate talent as the most rewarding facet of her career.

"My work has always reflected an appreciation for the intricacies of nature. The surrounding environment provides an endless source of inspiration; no one can argue that the beauty of a tree or flower is unrivaled. I hope that my designs can somehow translate the awe and sense of peace I feel when I look out the windows of my studio."
