David Burns

David Burns

David comes to copper work via a circuitous route that includes automotive repair auto racing, home building and a love of fine details in architecture with a special emphasis on entries. Applying copper to a myriad of products where copper had been little used is now the love of David's life.

Why copper, you ask, for its inherent beauty and proven longevity. Creating gates, furniture, fountains, railings, art for art's sake and much more is a staple in his studio. David has thousands of pieces in homes across America and off shore.

At 67, the joy of creativity in copper for the past thirteen years is one of a series of life's lucky accidents and reason enough to encourage others to exercise their right to enjoy mid life crisis no matter when they happen!
